Careers

Caregiving work that's worth staying in.

If you have done this work before, you already know the difference between an agency that schedules you well and one that treats you as interchangeable. Here is what we pay, what we cover, what we train, and what we expect — in numbers, before you apply, so you can decide whether it is worth your time.

Base rate

$18–$22 per hour

Based on experience and certification, not on negotiation

Open roles

What we are hiring for

All roles are across the seven counties we serve. Tell us on the form which counties you can actually reach, and we will schedule inside that.

  • Caregiver — personal care

    Part-time and full-time

    $18–$22 / hour

Hands-on help with bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and mobility. The core of what we do. Prior experience preferred but we will train the right person from zero.

    • Comfortable with hands-on personal care
    • Able to assist a transfer with a gait belt
    • Reliable transport to clients
  • Caregiver — homemaking and companion

    Part-time

    $18–$20 / hour

Housekeeping, laundry, meals, errands, appointments, and company. Good first role if you are new to caregiving and want to start without personal care.

    • Confident cooking to a prescribed diet
    • Valid licence and insured vehicle for errands
    • Patience for long conversations
  • Overnight caregiver

    Part-time, awake overnights

    $20–$24 / hour

Awake overnight shifts, usually 8pm–6am. You stay awake the whole shift — this is not a sleep shift. Suits people who genuinely prefer nights, not people trying to survive them.

    • Genuinely able to work awake overnight
    • Calm with confusion and sundowning
    • Reliable transport at night
  • Weekend and holiday caregiver

    Part-time, weekends

    $19–$23 / hour

Saturday and Sunday coverage, plus holidays at differential. Suits someone with weekday commitments — students, second jobs, parents with weekday childcare.

    • Consistent weekend availability
    • Willing to cover some holidays
    • Flexible across service types
  • Care supervisor

    Full-time

    Salaried — discussed at interview

In-home assessments, care plan writing, caregiver supervision, and family communication. Requires real caregiving experience; we promote into this role wherever we can.

    • Two or more years in home care
    • Confident writing care plans
    • Comfortable having hard conversations with families

Benefits

What comes with the job

  • Consistent clients

We schedule you with the same people. Continuity is better care and it is a better job — you learn a household instead of starting over every shift.

  • Schedules a week ahead

Published weekly. We do not cancel your shift the night before, and if a client cancels late you are paid for the first two hours.

  • Paid sick leave

Accrued from your first day, as Colorado law requires, and you are not made to feel like a problem for using it.

  • Mileage and drive time

Client-related mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate, and paid drive time between back-to-back clients on the same day.

  • Paid orientation and training

Orientation before your first shift and annual in-service, both paid at your base rate.

  • Certification support

We pay for CPR renewal and TB screening, and we help with CNA and QMAP pathways for people who want them.

  • Referral bonus

Refer a caregiver who stays 90 days and you both get a bonus. Most of our best hires came from people already here.

  • A supervisor who answers

A named supervisor and an on-call line that a person picks up. You should never be alone in a house with a problem and no one to call.

Training

What we train you on

All of it is paid, and none of it is a video you watch at home on your own time.

Before your first shift

  • Orientation on the agency, the care plan, and what you must never do
  • Personal care technique: bathing, dressing, toileting, and dignity in all three
  • Safe transfers, gait belt use, and knowing when not to attempt a lift
  • Infection control and hand hygiene
  • Recognising and reporting abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Documentation: what to write, when, and why it matters later
  • Emergency response, including exactly when to call 911 before calling us

While you are here

  • Annual in-service training, paid at your base rate
  • Dementia care: cueing, redirection, and de-escalation without arguing
  • Fall prevention and home safety assessment
  • Nutrition and cooking to prescribed diets
  • Client-specific training before you start with someone new
  • Supervisor visits that are coaching, not inspection

Requirements

What you need to be hired

Required, no exceptions

  • Legal authorisation to work in the United States
  • Colorado CBI and national background check clearance
  • Negative TB screening
  • Current CPR certification, or willingness to get it — we pay for it
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable, insured transport
  • 18 years or older
  • The ability to lift and assist safely, and the judgement to know when not to

Helps, but not required

  • Previous home care, CNA, or facility experience
  • CNA, HHA, or QMAP certification
  • Spanish, or another second language
  • Experience with dementia or Parkinson's
  • Comfort with dogs and cats — many of our clients have them
